^Lot 664 Smith & Wesson .38/32 Terrier .38 S&W #81085

'Pre-Model 32'. 'The Terrier' in 38 Smith & Wesson (NOT Special). Pinned Barrel, older all machined construction, circa 1970-73. Small frame double action snub nose revolver. Features a blued finish, case colored hammer & trigger, 1-7/8" pinned barrel with serrated ramp front sight, square notched rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, fluted five-shot cylinder, serrated trigger, service hammer with knurled spur, round butt I frame and two-piece checkered wood Magna style grips with silver S&W medallions. Serial number places it at 1953-54 manufacture. Bore is excellent/bright. Retains about 90% blue with a patch of small dents on side of cylinder, handling wear, a couple of rubs on the straps, edge losses, drag line. Grips are very good. Action is smooth with tight lock-up. Serial number matched on the right grip panel.
